Noosa has been part of Cate’s story since childhood — a place of family holidays, deep connection and long-standing roots. She established her boutique design agency in Noosa at just 25, later founding the lifestyle store Summer&Salt, and has raised her family among the beaches and riverways she knows intimately. Having lived across Sunshine Beach, Peregian Beach, Yaroomba and Sunrise Beach, and calling Noosa home permanently since 2010, Cate offers genuine local insight across the region.

Tell us a bit about yourself and what led you to become an agent at Reed & Co.?
I bring over 25 years of experience across design and property, working closely with residential and boutique hotel projects. My background has given me a strong understanding of how presentation, flow and strategy influence buyer appeal and results. Moving into real estate was a natural progression, allowing me to combine this insight with a people-focused approach. Reed & Co.’s emphasis on quality, integrity and lifestyle-led property strongly aligns with how I work and support my clients.
What does your professional journey look like so far, and how did this journey bring you to Noosa?
My career spans design, architecture and project management across Australia and internationally. I established my own boutique design agency at 25 and later founded a lifestyle retail business in Peregian Beach. Noosa has been part of my life since childhood, and I’ve lived across several local suburbs. This long-standing connection, combined with my professional background, gives me a deep understanding of the region and its property market.
What are your personal interests/commitments and how are they met within the Noosa Community?
Noosa supports the balance and wellbeing that’s important to me. I enjoy ocean swimming, trail running in the National Park and practising yoga, all of which are part of daily life here. I also value community connection and am keen to further support local charities and not-for-profits that reflect Noosa’s values around wellbeing, sustainability and care.
Tell us about your individual approach as an agent, and the personal qualities which help you achieve this?
My approach is tailored and client focused. I take time to understand individual goals and apply my design background to guide presentation, positioning and strategy. I’m calm, approachable and detail-oriented, with strong communication and empathy, ensuring clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout the process.
