Amidst COVID-19, new rules for property inspection prioritize safety. In California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, and Australia, guidelines ensure virtual property tours, maintaining social distancing and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

New Rules For Property Inspection During COVID-19

Livestream viewings, online closings, and disinfecting properties are common practices. These measures protect both buyers and agents, facilitating property transactions seamlessly while adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Reed & Co. Private inspection protocols:

  • No handshakes (we are happy to see you)
  • Use the provided hand sanitizers and soap
  • Respect social distancing rules, keeping at least 2 meters from our agents
  • Refrain from touching furniture, fixtures, fittings, lights, and any surfaces. If you would like to look in any cupboards or have a light turned on our agents will do this for you, just ask
  • Only one person at a time is allowed to inspect the property with our agents under new advice from the Government. We will be taking people through individually to ensure this is adhered to

We ask if any of the following apply to you, that you cancel your inspection:

  • Recently returned from overseas in the past 14 days
  • Are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Had contact with someone suspected or confirmed with Coronavirus
