Driver Profile

Ben’s passion for motor racing started well before his first race in 1996 and now includes extensive experience and success across many forms of the sport including Tarmac Rally, Gravel Rally, Circuit Racing, Sprint Meets, Hillclimbs and street circuit sprints. Ben has competed in many international, national and state events and championships including Targa Tasmania, Classic Adelaide, Targa Adelaide, Targa High Country, Australian Rally Championship, the Queensland Rally Championship, The Alpine Rally, Queensland Raceway Endurance Race, The Queensland Super Sprint Championship Series and the Grand Prix Rally to name just a few.

The extensive experience is matched only by Ben’s diversity in race cars covering rear wheel drive, all wheel drive and front wheel drive ranging from a classic 1968 BMW 2002ti, factory entered Toyota MR2, Mazda MX5, Subaru B4, Triumph 2500pi to his current race car a Renault Megane RS250.

Ben is currently leading his class in the 2019 Queensland Super Sprint Championship Series and regularly places in the top 3 in class in most events across many different disciplines in the sport.
When Ben is not racing cars he is participating in triathlon, half marathons or enjoying the tranquillity of mountain biking through the forest with his young son.
