From an early age Don has been lucky enough to have called Noosa home. He attended Tewantin State School and then High School in Cooroy. After 17 years in the plumbing industry he made the career transition into real estate after returning from an extensive cruise sailing his yacht in the Pacific with their boys Danny and Adrian. Don was encouraged to use his knowledge of the building industry and of Noosa to start as a real estate sales person with Peter Dowling. This led to a long successful career selling prestige property in Noosa, building a formidable reputation for delivering exceptional results and great client experiences.
Don enjoys helping people make, what is sometimes, one of the most important decisions of their lifetime so has a long-established client base. Don has had a strong link with the water and boats, as he has cruised and raced sailing boats since 1963. Don read once that one should take retirement in instalments, so he took that advice seriously. He has retired a number of times to go off sailing our various yachts all over the world.
Now his son Adrian has opened Reed & Co, he is out of retirement once again to meet and help more people to live or invest in the Noosa area.
